Homework Policy
Homework is a VERY IMPORTANT part of your scholar’s
academic success. It is critical that they complete their homework and STUDY on a daily basis. Please be sure
that your scholar has a quiet place to work each afternoon.

Weekly: Homework Packet for ELA, AR Log, Greek/Latin Roots Packet
(Due Friday)

Daily: Math homework (Due Daily)
v
Occasionally: Study for bi-weekly geography tests, Social
Studies or Science homework.
v
All
unfinished class work is also homework.
Assignment Policy
v
Assignments
will be accepted up to 3 days late. After 3 days, a ZERO will be assigned as
the grade for that assignment. No exceptions.
Binders
v
Scholars
will be given a binder and dividers. This is to be kept in a safe place while
in the classroom and also at home. It
will contain notes and other necessary resources, and scholars need to STUDY
from these regularly. If a scholar loses their notebook, they will be
responsible to replace it.
Suggested
School Supplies
v dry-erase markers, glue sticks, pens, crayons, highlighters, regular pencils,
colored pencils, markers, scissors, erasers, calculator, ear buds.
v
Scholars
will have a Science Fair Project Due at the beginning of semester 2. You will need to purchase a Science Fair or
Project board.
